So yes I know my little Water Damage episode today should set me back, but technically it won’t. I’m not starting the kids school until August 3rd. So no matter what the outcome, it will all be ready.
Anyways, the reason I call myself TAWL, is cuz Target is one of my places I go to get my classroom supplies. It’s awesome too. Just went their and got some more stuff , and took some pictures of their awesome Bullseye section.
Total goldmine. Charts, posters, calendar items, art supplies, the works.
I would always start here for items rather than go straight to the teaching supplies stores or bulk sites. Yes there are two actual bulk sites that sell awesome school supplies in bulk. But it can be pricy.
S&SWW and Discount School Supply. Like I said though. Go to target, the dollar stores or even Walmart first. Save your pocketbook.
Now the items I have purchased on the top are great things to have. The trays are for both individual work and arts&crafts. Put all of it on the individual trays that belong to the kid with the corresponding color. So for example my daughter loves pink. So all of her stuff is going to be pink. My son will be blue, my nephew will be green, and my other nephew ( should he choose to join us) will be orange.
The other trays with the dips in them are painting trays for them as well.
Labels, I wrote a blog about labels. I bought them here so I can label everything. Way cheaper too. Labels at my teaching supply store Lakeshore sells them for like 10 bucks a pack. I got each pack for 3 dollars.
Center bins were only 3 dollars again for each, and lakeshore is once again more expensive. So that’s a great deal.
Finally the best of all is the treasure box. Such a hidden treasure, no pun intended. Perfect for rewards for every day good deeds.
And the list goes on and on what I got. I just got those stars in that one picture. They are Velcro to stick on the carpet for each individual kid to sit on so they know their spot. Cleaver.
