For the past three years now I have been…….
Wait I have to back further than that. So I don’t know what you guys had as kids, but when I went to school , my school district supplies us with planners. Academic ones. I used to love getting my brand new planner and filling it with my daily homework assignments
Once I got into college, I continued with that by buying a planner for school. Course I was always changing planners up once I found the right one. I went from being a weekly planner to monthly only back to weekly. And it went one and on. I even made a best friend who had the same obsession I did . Planners were our thing.
As a teacher a lesson plan is essential, and what better way to have both your lesson plan ideas inside your planner.
Out comes the best planner in existence. THE HAPPY PLANNER. Created by the MAMBI scrapbooking company and has been an obsession on mine since I found it. It comes in so many different formats it’s insane. I am a vertical planner and can’t change my mind.
Then they started making student and teacher planners and I wanted one so bad. Well I finally got my chance , and I bought one. It’s so pretty I didn’t want to wreck it at first, but then I buckled down and began planning in it. It’s make it so easy.
Now you read in my last blog what a lesson plan is. That picture was a basic template that you can find and make your own. Teachers would have to take what’s on their planner and put it on the template for parents to see. Well being a stay at home mom homeschooler I don’t have to that. Just write everything down I one place, so I know where to look.
As you can see in my bottom photo that you can label the top with whatever subjects you like. I chose the subjects I know that are part of the PreKPrintablefun program that I am using.
So finding the right format to write down what you need to teach is essential to homeschooling. There are many, but I prefer the Happy Planner.
Good Luck !
