Have fun while cleaning? Really?

It’s the perfect opportunity right now during the summer to have the kiddos clean their toys while getting wet and soapy in water tables or if you have giant tubes.

My kids love their water tables, especially when I put dish soap in it. My daughters favorite thing to do is “pretend” clean at this point. So I just put out their sand toys and pool toys and let them actually clean them without actually knowing their cleaning.

Give them a couple of the dollar store cleaning brushes and they will be all too happy to do it.

It’s perfect for themes that have to do with community helpers, restaurant play, what soap does in water ( science experiments).

Now I said we are living in an apt and that’s true. But I have a water …… ( has a water table prior to water damage ) on my patio that I could have done to do this . Or you can be really brave and fill up the bathtub and use it for this fun activity.

Water tables are are fun no matter what. Even if you don’t use it for water. Technically the term for it is activity table. During fall and winter you can put other things in it. I had mentioned this in another blog. I believe it was under centers.

Fill it with beans, rice, etc. sensory things.

Good luck!!!!!
