I’m so excited to get back in to our own home. Our apartment has been our home for 6 years. I love it. Always have. The idea of a perfect house next has a lot to compare to now that it is going to get upgraded. TO MY DREAM DECOR.
So here are the things that are going to change……
1. We will have a set area on one end of the apt for the kids and our classroom. The same space as before but the entire wall to wall.
2. We will have less furniture , so that means more space to work with.
3. I will sick to my area for decoration and learning and now spread to the rest of the house like I was doing before.
4. The decorations will be changing themes. From scribble to Confetti. Now don’t get me wrong I want to me my letters, and some of my boarders to mix it up, but I am going to get more of the confetti to make it more colorful. So my calendar circle time area will keep somewhat the same look but minus the tree.
I love this collection is so pretty.
The picture to the left is the seasonal tree. This will change from the circle time wall to the learning wall with the chalk board. However I’m changing the chalk board to the opposite wall from where it was before and putting the circle time wall on the other wall.
The picture you see before you is what it was going to be but I have decided different. since there is going to be less furniture in this area I a going to change it up.
The wall to the left will be completely covered in the polka dot background from the couch to the end of the wall by the patio from top to bottom. Then I will put the blackboard on that wall with a surrounding boarder . The board will still be child level. Above the board will be a mix of both the words for the week wall and the other thing that have to do with the lessons for the week. I will also be putting a better season tree on that wall in the corner by the door. I will move the table and chairs that side of the room as well. Since it will be the table desk for them.
The kids pretend kitchen was destroyed in the flood. Poor Livi ( my daughter) it was her Santa gift this year. She’ll get another but it won’t be the same. This kitchen was so badly designed that it wasn’t really worth the money. So she’ll be getting a different play kitchen this Christmas. Until then, the patio will become our pretend play area. With the other play kitchen that we have that is all plastic, and the pretend play stand that is also water damaged will be created out of a different shelf in hopes that if the back patio is covered in water due to rain, it won’t damage it.
I know it’s hot out right now in AZ ( 116 degree today.) but it won’t be forever. And by the time we are back in here it will be cooling down.
Anyways back on topic, with pretend play outside, to give the kids that outside time and pretend play mix, that allows the other wall to become our circle time.
Once again from top to bottom and left to right all confetti decorations. And the calendar/ weather/ etc. Now for the built in shelves and the empty space underneath that was once a cube shelf that was destroyed with water. Those shelves will host colored bins, and other stuff like art supplies and their daily activities. The empty space underneath will host wall hangers for hanging activity bags. I might get another cub self but a small one level one that can hold some things for circle time.

Now as far as educational rug goes, I will be getting the same thing only getting the another one too. don’t know which one yet.
