The website program I have chosen for my two little ones is a website call prekprintablefun. I found it by doing research on homeschooling preschoolers to prek‘s and this was one of them.
Now remembering from my other blogs about lesson plans, I wanted to find a program that had everything laid out for me Week by Week and Theme by Theme. This program is perfect for me.
Now the entire program isn’t 100% free but it’s 50% free. The lesson plans and the ideas for the lessons you can gain access for free. However the printable’s, worksheets, and decorations are not free. You can either pay the member fee for one or two years ( I am going to do the one year) or you can pay for each and individual kit.
Course here is the rub, if you were to buy each individual kit for each theme ( and there are 2-3 for each) for the whole year separate, you would end up paint way more than the members fee. So it seems like a better by time just pay for the year.
I love 90% of the themes well be doing , but some of them aren’t really to my liking so I am changing them to something else I find on my own.
For example; the first week of school next week is camping, and I will be doing that. The following week is Picnics and Ants. Yuck. Not the best theme to do with me. I hate ants. So I’m changing it. It’s going to be Teddy Bear Picnic. It’s another popular theme in the preschool curriculum that I had with the school district. It isn’t on her list , so I’m changing it. I will make a pretty lesson plan like she makes and list the activities once I get to next weekend.
Going into that, each weekend I will post a full scale lesson plan for the week and it’s details that I hope to accomplish. Then at the end of each day I will post how it went. What worked , and what didn’t, and what will I try to do the next time.
