So the newest thing for sale at Lakeshore ( if you have one ) is there Flex Space furniture. what is Flex learning he might ask. Well it’s pretty much the newest way of helping kids who have a hard time sitting at a desk in a normal desk chair learning.
It’s beanbags, it’s bouncy balls, it’s floor chairs, it’s a couch, it’s a stool, and it’s a butt seat that the kids can sit on on top of the chairs that’s squishy that can move around on if need be. That’s what I bought today for my kiddos.
My daughter was tested for ADD, and with her IEP, she will need help paying attention. Now I am hoping this is her trigger. And my sons too. He’s too young to be tested for ADD, but he is very antsy for a 3 year old. Lol .
So I’m hoping tomorrow this will be the trick to get them to sit nicely for me. Today because we don’t have a carpet ( like I had before the water break, even though I bought another one and it will be here Thursday) these will suffice on top of the carpet.
The cool thing is, is that the ones for sale at lakeshore are bright and colorful and if you have kids who love color, this is the way to go. However if you have older kids who need an cool teen way of learning, I found a cool thing on Pinterest that would help teens at home.
If you recall we all hated those damn desks we had to sit at. So why not change it up, and figure out how your kid learns. On the floor, in a stool, in a beanbag, etc. lots of ways to learn.
