Boxing up everything that isn’t in boxes or bags already. Setting everything up for the movers.
I even took down our classroom wall. I left the things up and the carpet down because tomorrow is Monday and I still have school to teach. Especially the calendar. When you have a 4-5 year old it is VERY IMPORTANT to teach them the MONTHS OF THE YEAR and THE DAYS KF THR WERK. Plus when the calendar switches months, you want to explain how that happens.
My kiddos are very visual. So if they see it happening on their calendar , that means it’s true.
The weather chart is a cheap one that I got from targets dollar section. When we get home I am going to put up a different weather chart. Similar to the one I had done before with the frog, but not as big. I found it at target as well. There is a piece missing to it ( it’s the full week weather chart.)It only comes with Monday – Friday. I want to start teaching them YESTERDAY, TOMORROW, TODAU, etc. If my chart is missing that, then they won’t learn. Yes it’s on the monthly calendar , but I want them to fill in the spaces.
So I either will get from lakeshore this weekly chart…..
…… or get the days of the week poster and make my own Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow words time go with it.
Haven’t decided.
Back to moving. I still have a lot to pack up. Tomorrow I have to pack up the kids room, and pull everything out of the closets.
The bathrooms are easy enough. I didn’t unpack everything and put everything in our travel bag for the month.
On Tuesday morning we get the keys, and we get to go walk it. After that I am taking the kids to their grandparents house , and take my hubby to get the moving truck. The movers will come and help us, and we should be done by lunch time. I hope so.
