It’s finally here. Our move in day, and boy was our expectations met. Our home was completely remodeled from head to toe. Even the new light fixtures are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.
Moving back this time took longer than moving out. No clue why. The movers were amazing though. All we did again was get a UHaul truck and they send you movers to go with it. Have to pay for it of course. Highly recommend it.
It took three guys (2 helpers and 1 husband) to do all of the heavy lifting and little old me to do all the delicate things and once we got back into the apt, I do the unpacking. Holy crap my back is killing me. And I am still not done.
Tomorrow I will get started on the classroom boxes and the walls.
A little hiccup, and I don’t have a picture to show you yet, cuz it’s embarrassing, but it would seem while we were gone our outdoor storage unit was not safe. It looks as if some things are missing. Like it was picked through. I have to go through the entire closet to see what is missing. Then I have to inform the front office, and our insurance. AGAIN!
Any-who, tomorrow will be a bright and new day and we are HOME!!!!! I did get a lot done. The kids room, three kitchen, the laundry, part of the master. We are without a bed or furnished so we have to go to the new store BOBS this week and find things we like. I already went on their website and picked out a bed and a DINING SET. Can’t forget that.
Then we have to go to a IKEA, and get our dressers replaced too.
So happy to be home and to get back to business. Time for Home School Melcher to get back to normal. can’t wait to show you all the final product of the new classroom area.
