We’ve been Robbed!!! Our storage unit closet was cleared Out!

So we came home yesterday and I didn’t have time to go out to the storage closet to check on our things. So I did it today.

Flashback: when we were moving out after the flood, our apt manager said that our stuff would be safe out there, locked up until we got back.

WRONG!!!!!!!

I went out there and opened it up and 90% of our stuff is missing. Let me tell you what was in their before I get to the next part.

I love Christmas, and every year since getting married I have gotten a new ornament for our family ( the ones they have at the mall)…….

….. well I also let the kids pick out a new ornament from target as well. So our tree was growing in ornaments each year. The kids first Christmas ornaments were also in their. Their baby foot prints, their plaster hand, and baby pictures.

Omg I might start crying again. But wait there’s more. My husbands grandmother on his moms side, makes every person in her family a stocking ( by hand) for their first Christmas in the family. My husband has had his stocking for 35 years.

She made mine the year I got married to him, and the kids when they were born.

There were other decorations in their too. Hand painted ( by me when I was a teen) Santa’s that did for my moms Santa collection, but gave back to me when I became a mom. And all of the kids Christmas BUILD A BEAR stuffed animals. One in particular I used to announce to the family that my Son was going to be a BOY.

I mean who steels that stuff. Who takes precious family collectibles that are PRICELESS TO US.

There was one plastic bin I understood to take , cuz it was filled with Diamondback Memorabilia and World Series Merchandise but come on, my Christmas stuff. Why would you take that from us.

If this somehow gets out into the void , and you are that person, have a heart. We had a flood, forced to move out, was told our stuff would be safe, and you took it as ( finders keepers.)

My heart is breaking so much at the thought of where my stuff is at right now. We won’t press charges, we just want it back.
