With Voting becoming so important this year. By the way I am keeping my vote and my opinions to myself. It seems that politics really is a brutal subject for some people. That is a very important topic to teach.
On Monday the kids will learn about INSECTS, as planned. They will learn about how they are important for the environment and nature, one of the same.
The thing that I will use in my MATH lesson has changed to tally’s, So we will also learn about voting and how important it is to place your vote for anything and everything they have a voice for.
We will use the Insects for an example.
The online program I chose came with a voting pintable’s and I took the plain ones and made them into the bug ones you see in the pictures.
I already said in the one about Focus walls, that for math, you should always show numbers in other forms. Well tally’s are another form. So they will learn about how to do numbers 1-10 as tally’s.
