Veterans Day is a very important day for my family. Both my father, uncle, and my husband served in the Military.
The kids are getting to the right age where they can learn to appreciate what their father did fur his country.
For Pretend Play; aside from the fall leaves, there will be army dress up too.
At hobby lobby they have a party set up for camo and I will be getting the kids some of that supplies for fun. Hats (helmets) and dog tags. Lol we’ll see what I can find. I used to go into the dollar tree and they had it all. I’ll look there too.
The kids can do some drills and have fun listening to their sergeant. Lol. My school age students used to get a kick out of it.
Other than that, they can do some camo art. With marble painting. Also maybe a thank you card to their daddy and papa.
