Next Week: Winter Clothes / Hibernate/ Migrate/ Adapt (Sorry this is late)

So being sick with a head cold can make you forget stuff. Make you so tired that my blog has been put on the back burner for important things to do. I know they is silly but with two sick kids and me sick too, it’s kind of what is.

So let’s get started. Next weeks is the actual combination on the Hibernation front.

We were supposed to do this two weeks ago. And forgive me forgive me for not doing a Thanksgiving week theme , which was this past week, once again, sick and planing for thanksgiving covid style.

Moving on and back to this week. Since we took a field trip on the actual school day that week , we canceled hibernation and moved it to this coming week with the theme of WINTER CLOTHES.

With the kids if you already did your hibernate unit, you can just use this week to talk about how we ( as humans) get ready for winter . We put on jackets, Long pants, closed toe shoes, boots for some, and hats, gloves, etc.

For imagination play: put out all their winter clothes , and have them practice putting on their jackets and use the zipper.

Or you can have a contest to see who can put on the most layers of clothing. Lol. Like Cindy Lou did in the New Grinch Cartoon.

For me, and the kids, we are still going to make tents and do the Hibernate thing that I posted two weeks ago.

Plus we are going to do other things too.

Art: you can make…….

It’s all about design for this week. Lol. So cute.

The printables are the same as always.

For math since it’s been two weeks since the kids have had actual class time with me, we are going to review math symbols that they know so far .

Which are ……. + – and > < . So we’ll review that and also their counting , practice. Don’t want to rush them with moving on. I want to them to be able to understand numbers and their meaning too before Christmas break.

Mean as in, each number looks different. Such as, word form, tally, dice, sign language, etc.

So before I pass out from exhaustion and also my NyQuil taking effect. I will say this.

Getting close to Christmas and the other holidays. I’m not expecting the kids to do much learning , and if my third students parents should keep him home until after the new year, I’d completely understand.

Good night everyone.
