HAVE A HAPPY!! HAVE A HAPPY!! HAVE A HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!

2021 Let the new year come with vaccines and a president that will help us overcome this ciaos.

Anyways, Next week is all about the new year. The best part about this theme, is the kids can have a NOON YEAR PARTY.

Unlike adults , kids can’t stay up till midnight until they are a little older than my kiddos.

I think the year we started was when I was 10. We would go every year to a family friends party ( I miss those) and the kids would have their own cool set up in the garage and the adults would be in the living room. We would have a pool table, foos ball table, and board games, etc. plus Disney Channel and Nickelodeon had their own New Years parties for kids on their channel.

So for my Preschoolers and even the school age kids when I worked in day care we would have a party ( during the breaks camp ) on New Years Eve Day , ergo the NOON YEARS PARTY.

We would have all the goodies , have a dance party, I would be the DJ ( like always) and party starter. Mostly it was cuz my co workers were just lazy and so I would do most of the work ( the kids were worth it) and we ours have a lot of fun.

Then we would count down from 10 before 12:00 NOON and celebrate.

I plan on doing the same thing with the kiddos that day. So school will be on Thursday for my kiddos ( all my kiddos) instead of Monday!

And the printable’s this week are so cute.

So the plan is to have the kiddos all arrive by 9 and then we would do our normal school, have them play and then at 1030 or 11 start a dance party.

I have the best play list for the kiddos. It’s from my teaching days but what’s fun is now I have my TV too. So I can pull up on YouTube the JUST DANCE video recordings and have the kids dance to it.

Music consists of kids pop, Disney, and actual fun dances. Such as: the electric slide, the Macarena, Cupid Shuffle, cha cha slide, etc.

Have fun with it and do it with them. Then when it’s time to count down to Noon I’ll pass out the party stuff and let the fun begin.
