Now here’s the thing. Before I get into why I approve, let’s look at what Biden is trying to do.
In the news article that I could with NBC “The Post, citing three unnamed senior Democratic officials, said the plan would have the IRS send parents a monthly check of $300 per child younger than age 6 for a total of $3,600 per year. That amount would be lowered to $250 for children ages 6 to 17, or $3,000 per year. Those with higher incomes would be phased out, but it’s not clear yet where the plan would place that line. Parents currently get the child tax credit — up to $2,000 per child under age 17 — when filing their federal income taxes. This plan would change that and send the money to families without having to wait for tax season.”
Okay for us ladies and gentleman who don’t speak government, I will simplify it for you. Instead of next year filing your kids in your taxes and getting the tax credit all at once, the government wants to give out that money in monthly increments to help with families who have kids and need that money sooner.
Okay now about us, we aren’t rich and not poor, but there was a time ( about two years ago) we were on government funding ( WIC) to help us supplement our food supply for the kids. Single income family, and rent going higher , it was pins and needles for a year. So this kind of thing, would have helped us so much, had it actually been our around then.
Now it will still help us. That money a month PER KID can go to a lot of things. Food, clothes, stuff for school, and finally, into their savings accounts.
I like this idea of this monthly tax credit, cuz kids are suffering too through this, not just their parents. We need to help families while we can.
Anyways, that’s my opinion in that subject
