Just the other day, in February we had a high of 78 degrees. And my kids were in my parents back yard in their bathing suits playing with the water tables and mud.

With it only being February, that’s Acceptable, but with spring and summer weather on its way, what are the items that will be showing up in stores. Now some people have pools in their yards, but we don’t.
We live in an apt if you remember, and during covid I am not using the pool in our complex. We have ( last summer) spent a lot of time at my parents house using their yard ( which has no pool either) but we have other items that we use to keep cool.

We bought this from Walmart. It’s a inflatable water slide. It wasn’t that expensive. It didn’t come with a pump, but we already had one from the last water slide we had from the previous two summers. It just went rotten with mold, so we got this one. About 200.00. Which by the way is the price of a new water slide at Sams Club with the pump.

And this one.

So keep a look out at your local sams for these when you go in. They are so worth it to make summers fun.
Another thing to invest in is BUBBLES!!!!!

My kids love bubbles, and what kid doesn’t.
So my favorite thing to get for my kids to do, is any of the good bubble sets from Target or Walmart. Godzilla Bubbles is pretty good, but it isn’t that great. I like the music Disney Wands at both places. 12.99.

Or I like getting fubbles products. Non spill items for kids. Makes it easy.

I’m looking forward to trying out targets new bubble line though. If any of you have tried it and not liked it please tell me.
Sun Squads Bubble Solutions.

Next item for spring and summer water days in Arizona is Water Balloons.
For years people have always said that water balloons is a pain in the butt to blow up, just to have them be used up in seconds. I for one was one, especially water days as a teacher. Thankfully someone thought of a better idea and has made a huge profit for them. Target, Walmart and Walgreens sells them, but Costco has the best deal.
420 balloons for 19.99.

Well see if they get them back in stock.
Target has the newest thing with Bunch O Balloon.
Walmart has these.

Even though they are still a pain to pick up, it’s a great opportunity for kids to learn that if they want more, they have to clean up what they used first.
As far as pools go, we’ll there’s always just the giant above ground pools. But that’s expensive and pain in the but to keep up. So why not a temp solution with not a baby pool but a smaller version of an above ground pool.

Inter has some of the best ones. Up on top is their 8 feet around pool, it’s not a blow up except for the top Ring. It fills itself up with the hose . My kids love it cuz they can stand but it’s deep for them to go under water. And it’s only 24.99. Not bad.
H2go has their own version in Walmart’s site.

So it’s really up to you. We’ve been through a lot of blow up pools to know they don’t last long. But if you have babies or small toddlers, that’s your best bet for the summer. This is for kids who can stand in 3 .5 feet of water.
So have fun. I’ll let you all know what we end up getting. And give you my reviews.
