Okay a little switcharooo. I was planning on dong Dental Health next week and Vets/ Pets the Week after.
Reason? Next week my children and I are actually going to the Dentist for a Visit. I thought it would be fun to just have the same theme of school that week, so we can have a “Field Trip” that week that has to do with it. So that is the reason for the switch. So this week we are going to celebrate Pets.
Now here is the thing that goes well with this. I grew up with lots and lots of pets. One dog , Three Cats, A Hawaiian three horned chameleon, and lots and lots of Salt Water Fish.
My kiddos became blessed with their first pet with their Grandparents new puppy.
So with that we are doing Pets and Vets. Learning bout how to take care of animals correctly when you have them in your care.
That being said, the Printable’s for the Pets theme are so wonderful to use.
With February being a love on animals month, teaching how to love animals properly So with this the pretend play section is A Vet Clinic.
Usually we have the kids in our preschool classroom to bring a picture of their pets. A show and tell where they work on their speech for the rest of the class. So I am going to have the kiddos bring their favorite stuff animal to the circle and do the same thing with the rest of the group. LOL. Group, I have three kiddos. Anyways.
I would love to do this for the kiddos in pretend play, but all my selves are taken up at the moment.
Once we have the re-arrange of the kiddos room and the furniture, and I get to buy another couple of these selves to help organize the kids toys and centers. So wish me luck on that.

A cool math tool that Lakeshore Sells, is the Dog bone game. Have you seen it.
However, So you don’t have to pay the money. You can make your own.
out of a shoe box and the bones are just rolled up card stock.
Books.
We have the Dr. Seuss book. It is such a good book.
In other news. My kiddos are working on Measurements. This week will be tall vs short. So this is pretty good math. I am excited to be teaching it. Thanks to Disney and Carson Dellosa their work books are so worth it. The kids like learning with their favorite characters.
So this week should be fun.
