Something that happens during spring. Preschool Teachers either do Egg to Chicken incubation or they do Butterfly from Caterpillars.
The butterfly kit we decided to order from was through Insect Lore. It has been knowns for a great company to order from. They have Caterpillars, lady bugs, and ants. This is the home school kit.
However we ordered their butterfly kit through Amazon, ( which was a mistake) and the we got everything in the kit that it was supposed to have, but the baby caterpillars that came in it, were all dead except 1. According to Insect lore when I talked to them about it, they said it happens a lot. Amazon has their set up, but forgets to pack it safe within the box. Apparently. The cup was broken. I saved it by taping it with package tape.
So When I told them what happened, the operator was very helpful in getting us a replacement cup of caterpillars. ( FOR FREE) So we got them 5 days later and they came by Regular Post Office and they took better care of them than Amazon. They all arrived safely. They are growing.
The company guarantees 3 out of 5 will grow to butterflies. So we shall see. I will post how they are doing on my Facebook Page. The TAWL MOM. FIND ME.
