Spring is just a week away. March 22nd. Plus with our butterflies on their way to becoming butterflies, I decided a switch a roo again.
Next week March 29-April 2 will be Easter week. Instead of the week after that. according to the calendar I had it for the week after Easter, which Is always what a teacher does. Celebrates the theme of the week of the holiday in front of it. Not after.
Our first batch of Caterpillars came broken, as I stated before, and only one of our little guys survived. We talked to the company and they sent us FOR FREE a new cup.
So far our 5 guys are growing nice and big. They guarantee at least 3 will turn into butterflies. I’m thinking we get a full batch. Our one little guy has made it all the way to his chrysalis now he’s inside the butterfly net while we wait for him to turn for another 5 to 10 days.
So combining the two themes are as follows.
The pretend play will be a combo of wing dress up. And a laundry room. Lol .
Science we will be looking at our butterflies and their cycle.
For math and English we will be doing all about em information. The forms I found on that new website I posted yesterday.
Should be a fun day. Looking forward to it.
