Dinosaurs are iconic with kids. Especially with boy 2-5. When I was working for the district I taught during the summer time a class for kids who loved Dinosaurs.
My sons birthday is coming up and his party is this next weekend, so therefor we are moving up the dinosaurs lesson to this next week.
I have made things for his party , that I am thinking of selling on Etsy. We’ll see.

His party is Camp Cretaceous of the Jurassic World world. The cartoon is incredibly marvelous. I prefer this tv show on Netflix to the movie series all together.

Will fell in love with it. Seeing dinosaurs from the movies but in a different light. He’s never seen the real ones, I’m saying this of my own opinion.
Anyways back to my lessons. We will be concentrated on the truth of dinosaurs. That they lived so long ago that everything we have on them is a GUESS. We truly do not know what color their skins were or their feathers, that we are making educated guesses on bones that we find called fossils.

For all we know they could have been blue or purple, we just done know. And with that we come to our subjects.
1. Imagination play: it will be a a dinosaur dig. I found this kit on teachers pay teachers through PRE-K PAGES. It was 4.00. And worth it. Unfortunately, Prekprintablefun didn’t have a printable of her own. Not yet anyways. Not in time for this weeks lesson.

The kids will learn through math skills too how to use a grid

For their file folder games there is plenty to do.
We will also use a few videos as well to learn about dinosaurs. My favorite was on YouTube when I was a teacher. It was fun and exciting. And lots of songs.
We shall enjoy.
Dinosaurs are fun!!!!!
