The life of a pond is not all that different that any other body of water. It’s an eco system all on its very own.
For a preschooler who loves anything to do wit he water, this is going to be a great lesson. For my kiddos I plan on taking them to a local pond, where we can find some of these things.
The printable are so cute. Now the big thing about this next week is the science in all of this. When we did the farm, we talked about chickens, and the cycle of the egg.
With this unit, we will talk about the cycle of the frog mostly.
It comes with the differences of frogs and toads.
Another fun trip would be to go to the reptile places near here if we had them. We have certain stores. But not as entertaining as the ones we watch on YouTube.
Mostly our Snake Discovery talks about snakes, but she has other reptiles too.
Now moving on. Their won’t be a pretend play unit for this week. I have big plans for those to come back the last week of school and the summer months.
This next week and the weeks after are just fun weeks.
Now onto math: my kiddos are very smart and they are like I said in my last post, just need some practice on their counting and getting them started on addition. Small stuff. Adding one maybe 2 to each number- 1-20. Wish me luck.
I will try to do one craft this Coming week and that is painting. The kids have missed painting. So free painting time it will be.
