So MAY!!!! I said not far back that we were doing f the following for MAY.
Week 1: Mother’s Day
Week 2: Rocks & Mud
Week 3: Oceans
Well all of those except for week 3 will stay the same. Week three we are just doing graduation day and having a PARTY!!!!
A Hawaiian Luau. It’s a tradition of mine, plus it’s something that is part of my families thing. We aren’t Hawaiian, but we have luaus a lot for a lot of family celebrations. Been to Hawaii enough in my lifetime to put on a good one too.
For my school age kiddos I would get Hawaiian food from our local Hawaiian restaurant. If you live in Phoenix, ALOHA KITCHEN has been a AZ best for almost 30 years.
So I’ll get the kiddos some leis and grass skirts, play some Hawaiian music, and we’ll have a ceremony for the parents and grandparents. Lol.
Then our summer vacation starts after that week. But we will only take a weeks break.
We’ll pick lessons back up throughout the summer, to make it fun and interesting for my kiddos, and my little extra buddy is welcome to join.
