For summer, I have chosen to go with a photo backdrop off amazon instead of using better than paper. Why? Because I can reuse this backdrop for many things; parties, summer station in the household, and if one of the kids decide to have a beach bedroom theme, they can have it.
Taking down the walls today was heartbreaking to me.
The emptiness is overwhelming. So I’ll be putting up the beach scene over on the wall with the table. For now.
I want the area for the kiddos pretend play to remain empty. So that I may decorate for each theme with temporary stuff. If I had the butcher paper Like back at the school district, I would decorate it to each theme every week. But that takes time and money I don’t want to spend.
Last summer I used the kiddos paper roll to decorate, plus I had the pretend play stand. I don’t have that anymore either. I am going to have to come up with something new.
As I sat and lesson planned today I realized that possibly by this fall or by Christmas the kids and us will be in our first house. So that space for pretend play has to be taken in for account.
Yes I know, a house is a big deal. Well we are looking and we are going to find out hopefully!!! Pray for us is you pray.
Plus I also have my book to finish and hopefully that will be in the works too.
Anyways, back to planning. This is what my area looked like last summer , before the flood.
I had a bill it on board, which I light for again. It will be easier that putting paper on my wall time and time again.
