So much for fun in the sun. Oh well. It has been an interesting week.
My daughter got a summer cold and I right along side her.

For the past two days we have been staying at home and going to the doctor to get a negative test. Which by the way we did.
The school districts ask that a negative test result to be given copy to the health office before returning to school.
We did that on Monday and no it is Wednesday tomorrow, she is going back.
Son started swim lessons, and reading lessons with his Grammie. He’s doing great at both.
As for at home I turned the fun in the sun area into a sand okay zone. We have multiple types of sand in our house.
First we have the Crayola smell sand.

Not exactly the best, but it does smell nice. It’s just not as fine as kinetic sand.
Secondly we have the Blippi sand kit

Fun sand, but there isn’t a huge amount. Just enough to fit a small bin and it comes with little charms. I had wished they were magnetic but they aren’t.
Finally we have Slime Sand.

This is by far the coolest stuff next to kinetic sand. It is softer and it’s more fun to play with. The only downside is it does stain kids hands a bit. Couple of washes later and they are okay.
So that’s the kids choice out there right now. Is which sand play to play with. Which one they like the best.
