My room is finally complete, all I need is supplies and kiddos.
This week is fall break and I will be studying the curriculum that they have, and mold it with my themes.
Now I am doing two week long themes, for two reasons.
1. It will be easier on my brain and lesson planing
2. The themes are not what is important , it’s what they learn. So the themes,,,,,,
Will last that long but in truth it’s two themes in two weeks that pertain to the same thing, but molded.
For example: first two weeks of my classroom. All about me and then moves into Halloween. I’m calling it, who I am and who I wish I was.
So it starts with getting to know each other as a class and who I am as their teacher. Etc, then we move into the world is your oyster. What is it you want to be. Dressing up, the non real stuff.
So wish me luck. Sorry it’s been a while. Had to get my bar-rings.
