Halloween Ideas for Social Distancing Families.

We all hoped and prayed this year would be back to normal before Halloween, but it doesn’t look like it.

There are lots of people I hear who are still going to trick or treat, but social distance with it.

In my parents neighborhood they are asking people not to have the candy be given in person, it to have the candy on a table by the driveway and then sit behind it. Or they can have the candy by the front door just for the kids to take. But make the entry way into something fun for them to see.

Some neighborhoods are doing trunk or treating still. That’s always a good idea, even you can do that in your neighborhood. Decorate the trunk of your car and sit by it six feet.

I have seen full on decorations before.

Now If you aren’t trick or treating, you can something else for your kids at home. Alone or If you have other family members or friends in your inner circle , you can always do a Halloween Party. Make it fun for the kiddos.

When you get a chance and you have Pinterest, Just look up Halloween party games. There are so many. You can make this a great distraction for your kiddos away from trick or treating. Just fill your backyard or you patio or the inside your house with games and activities.

Pumpkin carving, bobbing for apples ( for older kids), face painting, removable tattoos. Also check out your local part stores or even TARGET or WALMART in their Halloween section. Prizes, treats, etc.

If you have the opportunity, do a movie night with popcorn and watch any of the movies from the previous blog. “October ideas and themes. “
