Kids Room! Living room!!!Time for a Change!! But how??????

I have been saying this is numerous posts, that the kids room is getting crowded. Now I have mentioned that we might get a bunk bed!

I was planning on putting their current beds in storage and then make room for all of their toys from the living room to theirs. Having a bunk bed will help with spacing out our home for the next couple of years. We want a house but we want to be in a good financial spot before attempting it.

Getting a full time job this year while the kids are in school will be a good start.

Anyways, back to their room.

This is what I currently have. Two twin beds and a lot of toys. Hahahaha.

So we are going to be getting a low bunk bed this weekend with all the sales. Put it where the white bed is, and then bringing the kids kitchen back into their room in the spot where my sons bed is. And then the living room half or pretend play can turn into an area of active play for the rest of the school year.

Then in May I’ll take down the school wall.

Put the chalkboard in the opposite wall with pretend play. And then in this are after I will remove all the background decor and make my living room a living room again. With the kids dining table and possibly. A rotating play area for the summer. Just like I had it before the flood. If my readers remember that little thing that happened.

Now my shelf in the back of this Picture will have to work with the rest of the summer but as far as my shelf that I have in front that is the IKEA oh true facts shelf I mentioned before that it has finally disintegrated on us and I have to throw it out.

I’ll be getting a Trop fast step shelf to replace it to put it in the kids room for storage of my sons Legos and for my daughter to use the steps up to her new bunkbed. But what will I Get an use for pretend play for Stands. now there’s a couple options.

1. Another troll fast shell and containers in it to hold supplies for the pretend play area.

2. Make my own out of wood crate containers and stack them up and nail them together like in the photo below.

3. Don’t get anything and use the furniture we have. Lol

I really like option 2. I’m pretty craft. The crates will come in handy for parties and other storage. Someday.

I’ll let you all know. Now this won’t start to happen for the next couple of months. But that’s the whole point of this blog. To see how a stay at home mom as myself would teach preschool at home and how to organize my life and Apartment during Covid.
