This summer after of having to stay at home and do practically nothing last year, we are going to make sure our kids have interaction with kids their age this year.
My daughter is in dance currently ( finally) at a local studio. She was in dance last year until covid hit, but she didn’t care for her old studio. This new studio is more to her liking. She is in a ballet tap combo class.
For the summer, we are signing her up for the summer session of her class and also for an acro class on the weekend.
For my son, we signed him up for the acro class for his age on the same day and time as his sisters tap ballet, so they will be there together. Just not in the same room. Give them a bit of separation. Plus we are signing my son up for a beginners gymnastics class. Acro and gymnastics aren’t really the same thing. Just a heads up.

Lol. It’s a good one. So acro/ short for acrobatics, is a dance floor version of gymnastics but to music. A gymnast learns more than floor acrobatics, but tumbles, balance beam, etc.
Another thing we are doing is having Livi attend her schools INTRO INTO KINDER camp. It’s three weeks long and it’s every day but only half day. So it will be a nice introduction into kinder. Her school is putting it on itself, and it’s only for kids that will be going into kinder at her school. A class of 20 kids only. So if she makes friends, they will stick with her in her classroom in the fall. So we’re excited.
As far as the school year goes, we’ll that depends on COMMUNITY ED, and what they have planned for after school programs. G
